The sinner's tree has much remorse, for any sin developes one branch, more sins after it grow leaves, for each lie you tell it scars. When an insect lays it's eggs on the sinner's tree th babies hatch alone, crying, wingless, the sinners tree wraps it's scarred, leafy branches around the infants. Sobbing, it takes care and loves them and they believe it, - I know you would too - untill the are engulfed by the gaping whole of the trees heart. Backstab, the only love a sinner knows. |
